Meet our team

Bruce Gordon

Co-Chair

From 2001 to 2008 Bruce was a Senior Partner of Deloitte LLP responsible for Southern Region. His clients included FTSE100 and FTSE 350 companies and he was a member of the UK Board of Partners, serving on various Board Committees.

Prior to joining Deloitte in 2001, he was the UK Regional Managing Partner at Arthur Andersen.

Chris Manson

Co-Chair

Chris is Newable’s CEO and is a Chartered Accountant and was awarded an EY Entrepreneur of the Year award for London in 2005.

Chris has started, scaled and sold three businesses. His most profitable venture was the interactive shopping channel company ‘sit-up Ltd’, sold to Virgin Media for £194 million. His previous roles also include directing commercial operations for Chelsea Football Club and working for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Really Useful Group.

Ed Sutcliffe

Newable Compliance Finance Director

Ed is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He spent 12 years working in a range of corporate finance, restructuring and accounting roles for professional services firms. Ed spent 8 years in New Zealand with PwC and BDO where he worked on a number of high-profile IPO's and receiverships, as well as undertaking secondment projects for large corporates.

Ketty Moseshvili

Ketty is Managing Director for Business Development at Newable Advice. She leads on building partnerships and securing new opportunities for Advice. Ketty’s commercial experience In Europe includes setting-up and running large, successful, FMCG sales teams. She is a trained chemical engineer, fluent in four languages.

Malcolm Cohen

Malcolm has over twenty-five years of experience in senior management. He leads Newable’s Business Advisory Services team that helps small and medium-sized business grow and innovate in the UK and overseas and delivers a range of innovation projects.

He was Group Finance Director and then Executive Chairman of BLP Group. Malcolm was a lay member of the Bar Standards Board which regulates Barristers in England and Wales and he had been a Magistrate for twenty years.

Thom Webb

Newable Compliance Portfolio Director

Thom joined Newable in January 2023 after a decade in central Government, where he held senior positions in the Department for Education, and latterly worked as Northern Director in the Department for International Trade with responsibility for Investment and Trade across the Northern Powerhouse.

His role as Director, North, involves growing Newable’s business into new regions, and builds on his experience of working with national and local Government, as well as his excellent leadership credentials.

Thom is a Mechanical Engineer and has a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics obtained whilst working alongside Rolls-Royce. He has also worked for E.On and Procter & Gamble, and grew up in Belgium.
